Developing an Effective Behavior Plan Using an Interdisciplinary Approach
Behavior Analysts earn 3 BACB Type 2 CEUs

Behavior Analysts will be instructed on the various components of an effective behavior modification plan. Each component will be discussed and examples provided. Participants will be asked to bring a case in order to facilitate group work. Certified behavior analysts in conjunction with a speech therapist and an occupational therapist will assist participants in creating and evaluating the behavior modification plan. Various components, based on the BACB Task List will be addressed throughout. Components will include but are not limited to defining target behaviors, data collection, establishing a strong functional assessment, antecedent and consequence based strategies, and ethical considerations. Collaboration with related services providers to create a comprehensive and effective plan as well as progress monitoring will be targeted.
